methylphosphonamidite
Methyl Phosphonamidites may be used in DNA synthesizers followingconventional CE Phosphoramidite protocols to produce oligonucleotides containingone or more methyl phosphonate linkages. However, deprotection and purificationtechniques differ and a description of the procedures is included with eachdelivery of these monomers. We also offer the dC monomer with acetyl baseprotection.1 This protecting group is removed with ammonium hydroxide during thecleavage step, eliminating modification at the dC sites during the deprotectionstep using ethylenediamine in ethanol.
